Rice St, North End

Rice street is a long, busy commercial street running north to south near the center of the Saint Paul metro area. I have never heard about anything good happening on Rice Street. It is home to dilapidated night clubs (I dare you to take a look at Club Cancun and still go in) and low-end stores (The "Strange Funiture Store" comes to mind). One of the nicest maintained stores on the street is the Aldi. I would not want to live too close to this street. Come for the McDonald's or Taco Bell, leave before nightfall.
