Home to artists, writers, poets, nature lovers, commuters, people with second homes, those whose families have lived there for generations, Bard College, and Kaatsbaan Dance Center, Red Hook is a diversified place where people generally live and let live. As long as you don't scare the horses or do anything illegal, new residents should find Red Hood a welcoming place.
