Red Hook is a firmly established Hudson Valley town, and there is still a grand, 19th century pastoral feel to this area. The town revels in its connections to the old-style life, and there are a great assortment of beautifully restored old Victorians and large old estates. There are new houses here, but McMansion colonies and mass development is kept to a minimum.
