Most all of the schools in Ravenswood rank as average when looking at test scores. This means that half the schools in the Chicago area are better and half are worse. The parents who have kids in these schools do say great things about them. The most recommended school in the area is Ravenswood Baptist Christian School, which is a private school.

I seem to recall some friends telling me that Ravenswood has pretty good schools, though the only one I can think of nearby is Amundsen High School. Nonetheless, Ravenswood is a very nice, safe and clean neighborhood, so it should attract good teachers.
