Yerba Buena Nursery is a great place to buy native plants or plants that grow well locally. They have a garden area so you can see how the plants looking growing in the local environment. It’s very nice and is in the hills so a nice drive too. They are very knowledgeable here as well.

Near by is Alice's Restaurant. Lots of bikers stop here but it’s a very nice place and they are not scary. They stop because the food is great and most biker clubs now are family oriented. It’s great country cooking in the mountains. There are other restaurants and mountain house is a little more up scale if you don’t like Alice’s.
