One of the city’s key skyline features and most stunning views is the Washington National Monument. The monument is visible from 15th street where the kiosk is located where tourists line up in the early hours. It takes planning to get up to the top and it all starts on the street waiting in line for tickets on 15th street.

This street goes around on one side of the Washington Monument. Its a stunning experience to see the monument, its definitely huge. Much bigger than it looks in the pictures. With a huge green patch around it, the white Washington Monument which is an obelisk looks great and magnanimous. You just cannot miss this out on your trip to Washington D.C. It really makes you feel you are in the capital of the United States of America.
