I'm a teacher and I live in Putnam. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "differentiated education." In recent years "differentiated instruction" has been implemented widely. In a nutshell, this means the teachers modifies the lesson based on the varying academic needs of the students. It can be very effective, but I don't think school districts are taking data to share with the public at this point. But if it's something different, I might be able to find data if it exists.

Svish I am looking for information about what is referred to as "Gifted and Talented" education - I have heard that with the budget concerns many school districts are having to reduce their attention to such programs. I'm trying to find out whether any of the Putnam schools are still prioritizing such initiatives.
