How many named neighborhoods are there in San Francisco?

If you look on Wikipedia, you will see 118 neighborhoods listed, but this list includes places that most people would not distinguish as neighborhoods, like Lower Pacific (most people just consider it Pacific Heights), Little Saigon and Mid-Market. Still, even with these quasi-neighborhoods excluded, I would say there are over 100 named neighborhoods in San Francisco. And I would say that they are mostly different and distinguishable. I'm sure some of the locals will agree.
