"Great accommodations especially since gas prices are rising!!!"
Great accommodations especially since gas prices are increasing!!!
My Florida home ownership in the Jasmine Lakes Community was short lived. While there I enjoyed all of the convenient amenities that were just minutes away from shopping, restaurants, hospitals, medical services and government agencies. Major airports located in Tampa & St. Petersburg.
This neighborhood was mainly for the retired folks however when I lived there-- there were a lot of smaller families moving into this area.
The typical home is between 2 or 3 bedrooms with either 1 or 2 full baths. Most of the construction is block. And, as for me, the added value was that this was a NO FLOOD zone neighborhood which meant the homeowners’ insurance policy was reasonable during my occupancy.
As far as PEST goes—make sure you KEEP UP with the TERMITES by hiring a good exterminator!!! And, make sure you learn more about sinkholes while living in PASCO COUNTY.
Hope this was and informative review for you.

"Pineapple Lane -- Close to EVERYTHING!!!"
A very nice sub-division nestled off of Rt. 19 that is close to ALL convienences.
During the time I lived in Jasmine Lakes (2004) they were in process of making road improvements throughout this community. It is my understanding that the PROPERTY TAX & INSURANCE RATES have INCREASED tremendously because of being in the hurricane region.
For the working folks the pay scale in this neighborhood is quiet low. Unless you are self-employed you may have to travel closer to Tampa to find a descent wages.
Otherwise, it’s a lovely place to live if you can deal with all the unforeseen increases as listed above.
