Philmont Ave, Somerton

I travel along Philmont ave on my way to school everyday. Some days the traffic backs up at the intersection of Bustleton ave, but it's generally not too bad. Whiskey Tango is a popular bar right at that intersection. I've never been to it since I'm of legal drinking age, however everyone I know who is loves it. I always see live bands advertised there. There are row homes, apartments, and individual houses along Philmont ave. I find these row homes to be some of the nicest in Northeast Philadelphia, judging by the outside appearance. Closer to street road there is a custom window tint shop called Shade of Gray. They do really nice work for a reasonable price. There are a bunch of other small businesses along Philmont ave that all seem to be worth looking into, specifically automotive based businesses. Overall this seems like a great area to live in. It's considered the city yet far enough away to have the feeling of the suburbs. Part of the street is considered the suburbs.
