Grabbing a cocktail and dinner at the Waterworks Restaurant is a truly romantic and unique experience in Philadelphia. When the weathers nice, you can stand out on the patio and get great views of Boathouse Row.

I love Max Brenner! I'd also recommend checking out some of Philly's BYOBs. Radicchio and Mercato are some of my favorites. Get a nice bottle of wine and share some Italian food! Most BYOBs in the city are tiny with romantic lighting and have a real neighborhood feel.

One romantic thing that you could do in the city is the horse and carriage rides. They have short tours (about 20 minutes), long tours (about 30 minutes) and hour tours that take you through Old City and the surrounding. It's actually pretty cool, but this is something you would do in nice weather. Or you can cuddle up with a blanket if its cold. Super romantic.

There's a great restaurant downtown by Max Brenner. It's like a real live version of Willie Wonka's chocolate factory. There are tubes all over the ceiling and walls of flowing chocolate. The atmosphere is really cozy and the place is a really nice place for couples to go. The food is redone really creatively and the drinks are amazing. They make their own chocolate and the drinks are really rich. The flavors are quite interesting and they sell a lot of different handmade chocolates. It's a wonderful experience and definitely romantic!
