Septa is the name of the local bus organization. It's not much per ticket. You can also buy a day pass, a week pass or a bag of tokens. If you just want to ride a single bus, the fare is $2.00. If you buy a transfer (getting off one bus and on the same stop waiting for a different route bus), it's another $1.00. Tokens are $1.55 each, but if you get a bag of them (2 is $3.10, 5 for 7.75 and a ten pack for 15.50). Everyone takes septa and their trains and the buses are usually on time.
