A good section of Philadelphia for you guys would be Bustleton. It provides a decent amount of shopping areas, but they aren't all walkable. Pennypack Park is good area for hiking and bike riding too. In Bustleton, you are about 20 mins from Center City and 5 mins from the Suburbs. Local transportation is abundant, such as the 88 and 67 buses. Houses cost around 150,000 up to 500,000. The area has 2 Elementary schools and 2 Middle Schools, The neighborhood also has Rec centers.

Hope you found this helpful coming from a 13 year old.
