I often buy at book's shop The Rift Collectibles. There is great diversity of books and service so wonderfully.

Definitely go to the Bruised Apple on Central Avenue in Peekskill! It's a treasure trove, and there are so few non-chain bookstores left in the world! They sell (and sometimes buy or trade) used books, CDs, and record albums. Hardcover and paperbacks. A definite must if you are looking for classic books, such as for high school or college, and are on a budget. A great place to browse, and incredible bargains.

There are a couple of great options for book lovers. The Bruised Apple Bookstore which sells new and used books and maps is highly regarded. There is also the Field Library Bookstore where the books and DVDs which are no longer in circulation at the library are sold.
