Like most places in Westchester, you're lucky if you find a place that's under $1,000 a month (or higher), but you can get a 1 bedroom, 1 bath in Peekskill between $1,280 and $1,310 a month. (Though it's mostly unheard of, at 932 South Street, there are one-bedroom studios that go for around $850 a month, but these go quickly.)
