"The main and newly renovated heart of Atlanta!"
Peachtree Road runs the entirety of the city from south to north, through the heart of downtown, midtown and Buckhead. It is an amazing street with an amazing history. Many areas have also been beautifully renovated. The stretch through Buckhead now features the Terminus Building with several great eateries as well as Craft, which might be the best restaurant in Atlanta now. Also, this stretch (unlike most of Atlanta) is very pedestrian friendly. If you come to visit Atlanta or are merely looking for a good place to eat, Peachtree is quite likely the place for you!

"Very busy and active, but a great "feel" "
Peachtree is a BUSY street in Atlanta. Everyone seems to drive through here on their way to somewhere else. The noise is typical of lots of traffic flow. The smells of exhaust pipes permeate in the air. HOWEVER, The images are wonderful. There are many old homes here and new homes here and they are mostly aesthetically pleasing. Some of the architecture takes you back to a different era. There are also newer condos if you want the accommodates of present day. The trees are magnificent and fragrant. They drown out some of the ruckus. All the people in Atlanta are proud of their neighborhood and would do anything to help one another out. The area is pet friendly, too, which is very important to my family. Peachtree has Southern Charm all the way with a little hustle and bustle.

"Peachtree Road in Atlanta, Georgia"
Being a fan of "Gone With The Wind", I had to make a visit to the Margaret Mitchell House and Museum at 990 Peachtree Road in Atlanta. Author of "Gone With The Wind", Margaret Mitchell resided in the home and declared it a city landmark in 1989. The home has immaculate and classic decor. The museum tells the entire story of the life of Margaret Mitchell, before and beyond the print of her well renowned novel.
