I'd say there's a degree of up-to-date technology in Pawling libraries. They're reasonably nice but I wouldn't say these are the best places to find the latest technology. I've been to big city libraries with far more advanced tech, so if you want the fastest computers with the latest software you'll struggle to find it in Pawling libraries.
The Pawling Library has 8 computers available for the public, and you can access the internet and print out material. They have WiFi, in case you'd rather bring your laptop. There is an AWE computer for kids, which has a touch screen and is filled with all kinds of learning software. If you're a library member, you can send and receive faxes on their line for a small fee.
