Do Pawling schools have strong anti-drug policies for students?

I wouldn't say the anti-drug policy in Pawling schools is especially strong, it's just that the town in general has very little drug use so it's not a huge problem. That's not to say there is no drug use, and within their policies it is stated that drug use is not permitted, but it's not as much a focus.

They don't have a separate policy; it's within their overall Code of Conduct. For possession and use, the punishments range from an in-school suspension to out of school suspension to permanent suspension, with a few other suspension options in between. Sale of drugs is a bit more serious and ranges from a five day out-of-school suspension to permanent suspension. As these are also illegal the school would also contact appropriate law enforcement.
