"Good detour"
This street is useful to bypass the downtown traffic, or even to get from downtown to Point Loma. It has some chain restaurants on it, some chain hotels, and some businesses. At the southern end, there is a park that overlooks the bay and is nice to walk around in. This is usually a good road to use to get from Point A to Point B and not get stuck in traffic on I-5 or downtown.

"Important street in San Diego"
Pacific highway is one of the main street in San Diego. Vehicular traffic is concentrated in larger quantities on this street. Huge skyscrapers and luxury resorts are common. I was sponsored a stay by my company at the Embassy Suites. Excellent service and accommodation with comfort is all I can say about this hotel. Restaurants, music shops, clothing and accessories stores are some of the smaller commercial establishments here.

"Nice street giving more of city like feeling"
You can get to see a number of intersections of different streets from the Pacific highway. This is possible because the street runs into many of its neighboring streets and major highways on its route. You can get a sight of San Diego’s sports arena from this street. The Lunch Bad Deli is a famous restaurant on Pacific highway. Small shopping stores and food outlets form the commercial area of this street.
