Oxford St, Portola

Oxford Ave. is a residential street in an area I like to call the “College Streets”. I like to call it this because the streets in this area are named after famous colleges. This street intersects Silver Ave. It is pretty quiet and peaceful. The homes here are very nice as well. It is located in a good, clean neighborhood. It is close to many stores and restaurants in San Bruno as well. It is close to Palega Park. There is access to a few muni lines like the 44 and 54. Overall this street would be a very nice place to live.

This old neighborhood is quiet -- lots of homes. You get the feeling it's blue collar. Many of the homes are rentals. The yards are decent sized. The surrounding streets, like Silliman down to Silver, are busy so you wouldn't want to have your kids try to ride bikes or play in the street.
