Does the Outer Sunset neighborhood in San Francisco have alot of crime compared to the rest of San Francisco?

Relative to many other places in San Francisco, crime is on the lower end. However, you are still i the city. In the last six months, for example, Outer Sunset has had 50 assaults and more than twice as many burglaries

So it is by no means a safe place like in the suburbans, but if you want that will either have to pay for it (like in Sea Cliff, or Sherwood Forrest) or you will have to move out of the city.
