our quiet, little dead-end street with its plentiful trees and shrubs is ideal for both young families and old families alike. there are many kids on the street ranging from just a couple years to teenagers. there are retirees on the street as well. due to the dead-end, we receive zero through traffic - only family and friends. although the train is a little over a block away, it is only heard when the house is completely silent.

all of our neighbors go out of their way to say hello and to ask if they can help out. everyone seems to care about each other, often giving gifts to each other around the holidays. some folks have deep roots here - over 30 years, while others are newer, but welcomed just the same.

we are in a great area with many restaurants and schools. highway 44 is 2 minutes away, manchester or lindbergh, just 5 minutes. too many parks to mention. we're also within 15 minutes of the galleria, plaza frontenac or west county mall.
