North Park has two universities within it's borders (North Park University and Northeastern Illinois University) - so there is a large influx of college students in the area. There is a lot of green space in this area too - mainly due to the colleges and the 48 acre Legion Park.
There are a lot of restaurants and bars in the area to cater to the university students. The streets are very quiet and tree lined. This neighborhood is best suited on young families or younger singles looking for a quiet peaceful neighborhood with a central location.
