"BUSY BODIES BUSINESS > west of Wilshire & Vermont METRO station - VIBRANT, LIVE area"

This area is always very busy with daily activity, is very diverse, and economically mixed. There is a balanced population of younger people, children, tweens, teens, young adults, mature, and older adults and the closely surrounding area has an equally balanced amount of activities and places to go that should appeal to the ever-changing preferences of the people. There are numerous and many retail, education, medical, health, food and entertainment establishments, as well as a good amount of transportation options. The area is affordable, busy and populated, and feels safe in observance of a reasonable presence of seemingly friendly and helpful law enforcement. After living here more than five years, I have had plenty of time to explore. With the mixing pot of cultural and social ingredients that make up this great city, country and World we live in, there will more likely than not, be something found in this area, to positively appeal to any one. I recommend you take a look; See!

"A good place to be in if you are on a budget"

I have lived here for more than a year, and lived with a family friend. This is nearby the Vermont station, if you do not have a car, public transportation is highly available, the train station is nearby and bus stops are just on the other side of the street. I highly recommend this for people who work in LA, specially downtown or hollywood. It will only take you 15 minutes max to get to your destination, rent is adequate, as long as you know how to be on a budget. there isn't much going on in this area, there are schools nearby, and hospitals, and it is near wilshire, santa monica, the 10 and the 101.

"Quant in the Heart of Koreatown - Don't Think About Parking"

You'll typically see homeless at night and fruit sellers during the day, but New Hampshire Av still has a nice neighborhoody sort of feeling to it. Though there are no restaurants to speak of on the street, you'll find some decent offerings on 6th Street or Wilshire nearby. The area is also close to the Vermont/Wilshire Red Line stop. The tenants in the Koreatown portion of New Hampshire Av include lower-middle class families, college students, and probably some migrant workers. It is very, very difficult to get a parking spot around here.
