Are there any hiking trails open in Taconic State Park?

Definitely. Taconic State Park has a few wonderful trails open to the public, and you can have a great time spending a day on them. One I really like takes you by Copake Falls and there's one by Rudd Pond. They're more traveled than some smaller trails, but there's good reason as there's lots to see.
