What is your favorite child's Playground in New Rochelle?

There were so many for my children! We would love to go to the different parks after dinner for an hour or so to unwind. There is the Jack's Friendship Garden on the corner of Eastchester Road and North Avenue. Great equipment there. Another park is at the Ward Elementary School on Broadfield Road but not as great.. New Rochelle is so close to other towns, and we would also pop into Eastchester too (dare I say it!) and they really liked the playground off Grand Boulevard - nicely shaded in the summer. If an older son was playing baseball at the Davis Elementary School , I would take my youngest to the 3 playgrounds (yes, 3) there and hopefully still try and watch the game! All good.

Glenn Island Park has something for everyone and is on Long Island Sound. The children's park is nice there. I am partial to water views- I feel like the air is filtered and fresher so Hudson Park also has a small children's park on the Sound. The park in front of the High School has a children's library a well as outdoor park. Many of the neighborhoods in New Rochelle have their own parks making suburban living a joy.
