Mottram Pt, Florida

Eagle Creek is an elite golf course community well off the beaten path. It is beautiful and peaceful. This neighborhood was developed during the housing boom and was heavily invested in by people who live outside the area. Hence, now that the housing boom is over, this neighborhood suffers from foreclosure blight. When we briefly lived here, it seemed like most of our neighbors who were here were from New York and only a couple neighbors were from Central Florida. The HOA dues are expensive and offer very little. There still is no community pool, community clubhouse, or any real community ammenities. The golf club house and annual dues are a whole seperate entity that each resident pursues individually. This community is far from the "golf resort living" dream. The developer failed to deliver on the dream promised to residents.
