Mission District, San Francisco - what is the average price for a home?

Average price for a single family home has gone up to around 1,300,000-1,500,000 in the neighborhood. However, this number might be falsely inflated by some recent really high sales in the neighborhood. Generally, I would say a good budget for a home in the Mission would be 1,000,000-1,300,000. You can find some fixers, smaller properties or homes without garages for less than 1,000,000. If you are ok with condos, then you can get a decent property starting around 900k but as low as 700k.
