Where should a child-free couple move to? We need a yard.

My partner and I are moving to MPLS in a few months. We want a nice home, but not a townhouse or apartment because I garden and he needs a motorcycle garage. What's a good neighborhood that's not too far/much traffic to downtown (under 30 mins) with easy access to shopping, dining, etc, but not too filled with kids and exorbitant property taxes?

You have so many choices in just about every direction within 30 minutes of downtown, you could stay in Minneapolis, St. Paul or one of the many suburbs surrounding our downtowns. Are you looking to rent or buy? New house, old house? We currently live in the city of Minneapolis and love it. We have families, single people, young and old on our block, plenty of room to garden and tinker in the garage. I'd love to help.
