Is Dieterich Pond a good spot for fishing?

Dieterich Pond Fishing near Millbrook, New York is strickly private property & they don't allow fishing, hunting or trespassing. The Corporation that owns the property takes this policy seriously!

As far as I know, no. I've heard conflicting reports about it, but the most pronounced one I read is that it is on private property and is therefore not open to the public for fishing. I think people HAVE fished there, but might not necessarily have been allowed to do it. If it really is on private property as it appears, don't bother.
