Should any parts of Midtown in New York City be avoided more than others?

All of it? Kidding . . .kind of. If I had to pick and choose which part of Midtown I would avoid over the other, I would say anything intersecting Broadway to 7th Ave. It's just a nightmare there 24 hours a day. It's loud and dirty and crowded and there's nothing to see there so I have no idea why it's always an ordeal getting two blocks in that stretch.
