Would it be crazy to live near the Farmers Market and commute to Calabasas?

Our new jobs are in Calabasas, but we don't really want to live there- would rather live somewhere with a lot more going on. What areas would give us a decent commute while still being awesome to live in for a late 20's couple?

Studio City or Sherman Oaks would be good spots to check out. At least you would be close to the 101 freeway.

Why not? It takes a zillion years to get from anywhere to anywhere else in LA.

Be happy at home. That's my best suggestion.
