Menlo Ave, South Los Angeles

Menlo Ave is located closely to the University of Southern California. It is mostly students (similar to other streets in the area) but is instead dominated by quaint houses, not apartments. This street is also busy Thursday – Saturday nights. Great place for students looking for off-camp housing in a safe environment that is in walking/biking distance to campus.

Menlo Ave is a decent place to live near USC. It is a little far from the campus, probably about a 10 minute bike ride. However, it has relatively cheap housing and the area is full of students. The street does have some "locals" living there and a church, but for the most part it is pretty safe. It is also next to a Ralphs shopping center which is very convenient.
