"A Convienient residential area for singles and couples"
Westland ave is a convient place to live to be near the city. Many college students live there so it can be loud at times and it is a little bit grimy. There are excellent restaurants nearby and great shopping options. There is also a grocery store at the end of the block. Nearby parks offer good outside areas and it is immediatly between two train lines of the local transportation options which helps a lot.

"The street that goes on and on."
A warning to tourists: please do not call it "Massachusetts Avenue." Everyone in Boston just calls this street Mass Ave. It is one of the longest streets in the Boston area running from the edge of the Dorchester neighborhood through Boston, Cambridge, Arlington, Lexington before it ends at Minuteman National Park. In Boston proper, Mass Ave has many different feelings. At one end Newbury Street dead ends into it and despite the T station and the Masspike running under it is still an upscale area. At the other end however, there is not the economic prosperity. Along the way between is the beautiful Christian Scientist center and the Boston Symphony.
