"Not a very safe street to live on"

Martin Luther King Jr Avenue in Long Beach is a pretty derelict area. There is a lot of poverty and drug addicts that roam this street. It's mainly low-income housing and not much else other than the occasional corner store or gas station at a major street crossing. This really isn't a street I would ever recommend someone to visit.
