Marquette Park is also known as part of Chicago Lawn. Once a hotbed of civil rights in the 60's this is now a very diverse residential area with lots of green space. Here are few things to see and do while in Marquette Park/Chicago Lawn.

1. Marquette Park - largest park on the southwest side it boasts 323 acres
2. Nativity Blessed Virgin Mary - beautiful Catholic Church
3. Lithuanian Plaza
4. Southwest News Herald - this daily paper has been here since the 1920's
5. Garifuna Flava - Belizean restaurant
6. Fat Johnnie's Famous Red Hots Hot Dogs - since 1972 it has been serving amazing hot dogs
7. Granny B's Diners - sit down diner very popular among the locals
8. Seklycia Lithuanian - Lithuanian restaurant
9. Nate's Police Equipment - CPD shirts and other great accessories
10. Rachid Bakery - Middle Eastern bakery
