"Picturesque residential street"
This is a purely residential area, and as far as residential areas go this is a nice one. Close to Lefferts Garden and Prospect Park (the actual park rather than the neighborhood of the same name), this street is incredibly picturesque - especially during any season in which there are still leaves on the trees. Residents keep tidy front lawns (albeit small ones, keeping with the Brooklyn tradition), and the homes here are a pleasant sight during a leisurely stroll.
The neighborhood is quite and there is usually parking available in the street as some of the residents on this street have their own driveways. There is little to no traffic on this street, which is intersected by main drags like Nostrand and Utica.

"On Maple Street"
Overall, this street didn't really have a lot to offer in terms of entertainment, but plenty in terms of convenience. The thing I like about Brooklyn is that it is a very convenient place and there is always something to do or see. I think that Brooklyn is great, and this street in particular really articulates why people are willing to "borough" it out and leave behind the excess and inconvenience of the city. All in all, a great street in the city.

""Great for families""
I've lived on Maple Street for the past 4 years. It is in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn. It is a residential area with mostly 2 or 3 family brick houses. The area is very accesible to many different services in the community.
I live on Maple street near Utica Avenue, which has many stores and services such as Payless, Duane Reade, and Check Cashing just to name a few.
There is also a field across the street from my house which houses different events such as baseball games, soccer games, and sometimes festivals.
The street is about 8-10 ten blocks from Eastern Parkway, from the 3 or 4 train. The buses that run nearby is the B46, B12, and the B17.
The only close to negative thing I can say about this block is that I don't really know that many of my neighbors especially after living there for a couple of years.
