...No. No. No! Obama and Hilary yes! Sarah, no! But Donald? That's not even a "No!" so much as a "huh?" I wonder if it's a publicity stunt for one of his new reality TV shows...

Ugh. He would. Definitely a publicity stunt. Then again, judging from the hair piece, maybe he's serious.

That's interesting. A year ago he claimed he did not want to run for president and now he is stating he wants to. I wonder what made him change his mind.

He'd be laughed out of the primaries. I don't have much faith of people doing the right thing when it comes to politics, but at least that much I'm sure of. Vanity of vanities...

Oh, I'd totally vote for the Naked Cowboy... ...over Sarah Palin.

Men can be so hysterical about their hair. It's fascinating to observe male hysteria in action.

It would be great fun to watch this space and see how this pans out. Can imagine the Donald in the primaries, loud, bombastic and boastful. A real treat!

I also seem to remember reading somewhere that The Donald intends to buy whatever's left of Stuyvesandt Town / Peter Cooper Village, and his daughter Ivanka is set to manage the properties. There's just no end to this man's flamboyant vanity.

@Uraniumfish Here's an article that chronicles his life's 'achievements'-http://www.theepochtimes.com/n2/content/view/44387/ He's one shrewd guy and unfortunately like a lot of successful people he seems to be insufferable. Though I wonder how serious his bid is for the White House is.

There are a lot of shrewd businessmen who don't seek the limelight the way he does, though. He's all about flash and showing off.

Also, hair and fake tanner are atrocious: considering that he is both wealthy and vain, can't he just give it up and hire a professional stylist, instead of clearly doing that himself?

@Uraniumfish well said. Many people who live in NYC seem to hang on to their youth no matter what. You often see a similar scary site on the UES, a wizened old biddy, with bronze skin, dazzling white teeth and a heavily botoxed forehead. Wish I was brave enough to take a photo of these creatures and post them on the site.

@Uraniumfish I actually watch the British version of the Apprentice when I am in England and I must say I much prefer their Alan Sugar who looks like a teddy bear to the Donald.

I reeeeeaally feel sorry for women who do the botox duck-lips to themselves; it looks like something out of a nightmare.

I have to admit that Donald Trump is nothing much to look at, and doesn't have that great of a personality either.

Hah! When you're rich and a man, you don't have to be much to look at or have a much of a personality! But you do have to pay yourself for a stylist instead of doing the fake tan yourself so you don't end up looking like a fool! How come on the gossip/ fashion pages, the minute a female star walks onto the red carpet with her lipstick smudged or something, they get written up in the most catty way - but Donald Trump appears in public looking like he spilled orange acrylic paint on himself and no one says a word!

@Uraniumfish: Women have been scrutinized by men for years. This is nothing new. It is a media thing. Women, especially models, are looked up as the sexy and attractive of all females, as such they have to look perfect.

@Uraniumfish you have a point there, how do the rags leave him alone? Maybe its a case of you know money talks and . b.s. walks as the saying goes.

Don't people constantly make fun of Trump? Maybe the joke has gotten old along with that toupee.

Well, his wife used to style their son's hair just like his when he was a toddler so I think the Donald is very well aware of the joke and isn't much bothered by it.

@JenMac Perhaps he thinks he is rich enough to get away with it .. after all he has a line of shirts and ties and what not retailing at Macys/

I think Trump's so aware of the joke that it's hard to mock him for it - ridiculousness at all. For better or worse, it's part of his "brand."

@Everyone recent polls show that the Donald's ratings are just two points behind Obama.. http://www.nydailynews.com/ny_local/2011/02/26/2011-02-26_trump_trailing_obama_by_a_hair_in_recent_poll_and_billionaire_developer_says_he_.html

@uptowngirl I'd like to think the polls for the Donald only show positive because people vote for him as a joke - you know, how people will vote for Donald Duck for president.
