And here's a follow-up comparisons list. Check out the sex category: http://newyork.timeout.com/articles/own-this-city/83212/40-person-survey-brooklyn-vs-manhattan Do y'all agree?

Thank you, that feeds my numbers addiction very nicely. I love how property values are more than twice in Manhattan, and air pollutants are three times as high. And, yeah, I think I agree with those sex statistics: nobody gets laid in Manhattan. That would go along with the uptight Type A personalities of the overwhelming number of Manhattanites. Let's hear it for Brooklyn!

Manhattan FTW! We were here first! We were cool first! And we have Central Park, the Empire State Building, Broadway theatres, and Madison Avenue!

Obviously I've chosen the correct borough: much more affordable and its inhabitants enjoy sex! How can you beat that?

Boy, after reading the statistics page, I didn't realize Brooklyn outshines Manhattan in many ways except price of rentals and income levels.

Isn't it interesting that in Brooklyn, 35% have sex 3-5 times a week, while in Manhattan, 14% of the people have sex 3-5 times a week. This proves that those in Brooklyn are more active sexually than those in Manhattan. Hey, no wonder. Manhattan can really stress you out big time.

The only thing Manhattanites seem to have over Brooklynites is the snobbery...ie. Some Manhattanites wouldn't even date someone in another borough...

@DBlack and you have Cake Man Raven ...love his red velvet cakes.. but honestly I even like going to Queens ..so what's the big deal with this rivalry? @Uraniumfish I actually saw that attitude on an episode of the Real Housewives.. the folks that I hang out in Manhattan are nothing like those crazy women.

And isn't everyone partial to their own neighborhood as well? New Yorkers will find a way to have a rivalry whenever possible. @Uraniumfish I have friends who won't date outside of Brooklyn, though it's less for reasons of snobbery and more because of the pain it can be to travel outside of the borough to see someone frequently.

@ajadeidealist Ha! They only hope so! How would they know about quality, seeing as they can barely get in any practice! Like a concert pianist, one must practice practice practice to get to sexual virtuosity. Go Brooklyn! (It's fun to stoke this rivalry a little.)

@Manhattanites Yes, the numbers don't lie. Sorry, but how can more sex not equal better sex? Practice makes perfect, people.
