Any women on here have a membership to Gilt Groupe? I just tried to sign on and realized it's "by invitation only." Geez. They really play up the exclusivity thing. So if anyone is a member, I'd like to be invited:

Okey-doke. Update on this "by invitation only" discount club: you really can go to the website and just sign yourself up. They just WAIT a few hours before they send you a confirmation email. I guess that's the exclusive part of it.

Ugh - I'm not a huge fan of these "invitation only" blogs/clubs/groups/etc. It just seems a little....well...high school to me.

@ajadeidealist Indeedy, I agree about how it seems like high school. Apparently they are making money hand over fist because of their "invitation only" thing. Also I really am a sucker for designer clothes and 70% discounts make it seem like I could even hope to afford a piece or two.

@Uraniumfish yesterday I held the elevator door for woman here in HK. She was laden with black carrybags and told me she had been shopping at the Valentino sale. Apparently there were discounts of nearly 90% and she urged me to go and shop as well...I have spent far too much money recently so really wasnt interested..Moreover I really dont think the sales here as good as they are in NYC. @Everyone If anyone likes Kate Spade products I have a 30% friends and family coupon which has just arrived in my mail box.. can forward it along..
