Does any one know how to get from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn to New Jersey ?

New Jersey is a somewhat sizeable state so it really depends on what city in New Jersey you're going. If it's something like Jersey City, you can take the R train to Church, the Path from Church to Christopher and then the Light Rail from Christopher to Jersey. If it's somewhere in Northwestern Jersey, you'll probably have to get a zipcar for the day and just drive out there.
