Mall Walk, Southeast Yonkers

Mall Walk offers visitors a gateway to Cross County, a major shopping area in Yonkers. The open air shopping mall houses a number of great stores and is currently being completely renovated with new retailers to open soon in the mall. Macy's and Sears are the to masthead stores in the mall, but the interior of the mall offers everything from clothing shops, to pet stores, to jewelers and shoe stores. A movie theater and Applebee's round out the area and make it a popular spot year-round.

Being the fourth largest city in the state of New York, you would expect it to have some large retail shopping. And it does. Mall Walk features retail stores including Lane Bryant, Victoria's Secret, Aldo Shoes, and Waldenbooks. Though the walk into all of the stores is a bit lengthy and tiring, many of the largest retailers as located in the same vicinity, along with a few choice boutiques, local shops, and small eateries.
