Main street is not a place to live but is a great place to hear some good local music and get a tattoo. Main Street is part of Deep Ellum which is known for being a place where you keep your purse close and your eyes open and has a dark, dirty, genuine atmosphere. There's a great mix of art galleries, service shops, clubs, and music venues. But again, has a notorious problem with homeless and crime.
