Is Los Feliz a good place for students to live?

My friends and I are planning on moving into a two bedroom apartment in Los Feliz.. and there are four of us. Is this practical?

I suppose it would be like dorm living--2 to a room. I knew these guys at UCLA who were 5 in a two bedroom with one guy in the roll-out couch. It was a total mess because they were all guys and none of them cleaned but it all depends on how well you guys can get along and get the job done. Sounds doable on that front.

As to Los Feliz itself, it was known as a bit of hipster neighborhood for a while but its a little on the pricy side for that these days. You can probably pull it off though. I just took a quick look on Zillow and it looks like you can get a 2 bedroom apartment for around $2000--so split four ways at $500/each is pretty good.

I would recommend telling the landlord you are going to be four though.

Okay, good luck Green Julius. Have fun!

greenjulius3 We are all a bunch of girls, so hopefully we will be able to keep it somewhat tidy.

From what I have seen it does look like a pretty nice neighborhood, so hopefully it will be worth the cost of living there. Thank you so much for your input!!
