There are so many great places to walk and bike in Longmont, Macintosh Lake is one, located in the northwest part of Longmont. Many of the trails connect if you are biking and can easily do 30 mile bike ride and not have to go on to many streets. Another wonderful place for walking is Golden Ponds, located on the west side of town on 3rd Ave. That trail is part of the St Vrain trail that runs east to Sandstone Ranch. Another wonderful place to walk is Pella Crossing, located west of Longmont on CR 75.

A beautiful spot to walk is in northwest Longmont around McIntosh Lake. Longs Peak and Mount Meeker are right there behind the lake. Amazing view!
