The LSNA is a great example of what a neighborhood association should be. A lot of them, in my experience, have members that want to "improve" the neighborhood by getting rid of their neighbors and local businesses and replacing them with a lot of expensive stuff. The LSNA works with families, teachers, neighborhood businesses, etc. They work towards a safer community and making it better for ALL residents. They work towards affordable housing, help out immigrants, and work with teachers and schools a lot. It's a great group that does a lot of good things for the neighborhood.
