Ryan is right. The light rail is very easy to take from downtown Denver to Littleton. However, this is also an easy drive too. From downtown Denver to downtown Littleton, it usually takes about 16 to 22 minutes, depending upon traffic and where exactly you're heading. With the current construction at Santa Fe and I-25, it is a bit slower right now, but even with construction, this is a very easy drive.

Why drive when you can take the light rail? It's a 20 minute train ride into downtown. I've managed with traffic to make it from old town or the Littleton Station area in about 20-30 minutes, but with traffic, particularly with all of the construction on Sante Fe the last year, it's taken a bit longer...

I'd give it 30 minutes minimum in any kind of slower-moving traffic.
