Lincoln Square, New York City - good neighborhood for singles?

I wouldn't say so. Uptown, in general, outside of a few parts of the UWS , isn't great for singles. Lincoln Square is a tourist trap and most of the bars and restaurants cater more to that kind of demographic. Other parts are just really sleepy and tend to be older.
