Children's Memorial
In my experience this is the place to be when your kid needs medical care. The staff here is amazing. They truly care about the child as well as the whole family.
They try to make what often is a terrifying and overwhelming expereince more bearable. Not only do they have cutting edge technology and amazing resources they also have a compassionate and caring attitude and genuinly understand the needs of families.
Children's Memorial has an emergency department that is specially equipt to handle the smallest of patients. In fact they only treat the pediatric population. The hospital has contracted with various medical centers in the suburbs to make stellar care more accesible for those in the suburbs.
It is one of the blessings of living in Chicago- to have this at hand- even though I pray my children will not need it.
