Levant St, Buena Vista

Levant street is a really short street that intersects Lower Terrace and states Street. This street consists mainly of two story houses and apartment-like complexes that are about three stories high. This is an average street with pretty nice houses, the atmosphere of this street is peaceful. The great thing about this street is that it is near many attractions. There are three parks nearby, the Corona Park, Buena Vista Park, and Golden Gate Park. There is also a playground for kids right next to the Corona Park, the State Street Playground. The Twin Peaks of San Francisco is a bit farther away, but the Golden Gate Park is only about 10-12 blocks away, which is a bit longer than walking distance, but there are buses.

Levant Street begins at a street transition from Masonic Avenue and to Alpine Terrace. Levant Street lies near Buena Vista Park and Corona Heights Park. One main attraction you will find around Levant Street is that of Randall Junior Museum—I recommend families visit this museum. Levant Street is on a slight slant/hill and consists mainly of houses of various styles, trees, and cars. The 37 Muni bus also runs through Levant Street. State Street Playground is nearby which is great for the children. Another park is the Duboce Park, where there is a field for dogs and play structures for children. Next to Duboce Park is the California Pacific Medical Center – Davies Campus.
